Community Project - Watercolor

Learning Objective - Students will be able to:

  1. Evaluate how the elements and principles of art can be used effectively in original artwork and works of others

  2. Use themes, subjects, symbols, and metaphors in artwork to express concepts, issues, and/or personal opinions

  3. Compare and use the function of artwork among cultures, careers, and historical periods to draw conclusions for own art-work

21st Century Hawks created original works of art using watercolor techniques to express themes, subjects, symbols and representations for their community. We also practiced evaluating the elements of art - line, shape, color, texture, value, form, and space.
