Dec. 2, 2017 HĀ Community Day - Celebration for Nānākuli

Mahalo ‘Ohana! On December 2nd, 2017 we celebrated our community and started to spread our HĀ throughout Nānākuli! The HĀ Community Day was a special day to share the Mo‘olelo Nānākuli in the Legacy Wall Mural! Together, we transferred our mana through each of our hands in the "Mana Lima" process with artist, Prime.

• Mahalo Pastor Allen Cardines, Kahu Poki‘i Magallenes, Kumu Kirkland, and Kumu Troxell for blessing our HĀ Community Day - Celebration for Nānākuli with oli.

• Mahalo Mr. Pilialoha and Mrs. Luna for your support and vision for our campus and community.

• Mahalo to Prime and your team for sharing your mana‘o and artistry with our community and Legacy Wall Mural.

• Mahalo Aunty Puanani Burgess for sharing your stories to help spread Aloha and healing in our beloved community.

• Mahalo Mrs. Luna, Mrs. Troxell, and helpful staff for your early hours preparing and providing lunch for everyone.

• Mahalo to Tina and Sheri from Pals and Places for all you do for our school and this HĀ Community Day.

• Much Mahalo to Miss Noa and the student council for your helping hands.

• Kili and Kanani, you did a great job public speaking and sharing the purpose of HĀ in our community, mahalo for your student leadership!

• Mahalo nui to all ‘ohana, keiki, kupuna, staff, and administrators for making our HĀ Community Day so meaningful.

• Mahalo to the high school art class for painting the HĀ-BREATH mini murals, they were awesome and breathtaking.

• Mahalo to my wife for your helpful hands and my daughter for taking pictures and making this cool video.

• I hope I didn't miss anyone... "‘ohana means family and family means no one gets left behind" - Lilo and Stitch
